So thanksgiving 2013 has come and gone. A day that Americans feast on turkey and other various cuisines (depending on your ancestral background). This was my first time away from home on thanksgiving, and I discovered something novel in Northern Ireland: Belfast’s Christmas Continental Market.
Held at the city center, the Xmas market is easily accessible from virtually anywhere in town. It’s right at the hub of every means of transportation. I recommend going there after dark as you’ll get to see the buildings and the streets all lit up in various festive colors. There are great cuisine, drinks and confectionaries to choose from, but the most intriguing was the, “Meats of the World.” Care for a kangaroo or ostrich burger?
